Performing all types of classical music from Beethoven to Shostakovich, Kristen Antolik has appeared as a soloist, chamber player and orchestral musician all over the country. She can provide classical music for your wedding, party, or corporate event at a very high level. Her sound is very rich and leaves audiences everywhere wanting to hear more of her music. She has performed professionally with the Miami Symphony, Southwest Florida Symphony, Sarasota Orchestra, and Gainesville Chamber Orchestra.

 


Kristen grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida where she started her musical studies at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach. She attended Boston University's prestigious College of Fine Arts where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Cello Performance. She was awarded her Master's Degree at the University of Miami where she studied cello with Ross Harbaugh, member of the Bergonzi Quartet. She has performed in master classes for well-known cellists such as Janos Starker, Orlando Cole, Helga Winold, Richard Weiss and Anthony Elliot. During the 2008-2009 season she played as a full time member of the Miami Symphony. She has performed as principal cellist with the Boston University Chamber Orchestra, the Frost Symphony Orchestra, the Eastern Symphony Orchestra, and the Ars Flores Symphony. She has also performed with a string quartet for a photo reception in Boston, MA honoring Mitt Romney. Other notable performances include an orchestra accompanying Andrea Bocelli live in concert at the Hard Rock in Fort Lauderdale, FL and a quartet performance at a fundraiser sponsored by George W. Bush at a private residence in Palm Beach, FL. Kristen performs regularly with the Southwest Florida Symphony in Ft. Myers and the Gainesville Orchestra. She spends her spare time with her husband Paul and their two dogs and cat.
